Here we will give you a bit of the histroy surrounding PURE: Unleased, hopefully this section will give you a bit more insight into what we are about and maybe convince you in joining us in our journey of making history as the best federation on the net.

PURE: Unleashed actually didn't start off as PURE: Unleashed at all. Founded in 2006, PURE: Unleashed was originally named X-treme International Wrestling and was controlled by Azia 'The Death Dealer' Howard, Darkest Evil, and Hippie. XIW went strong for a little over a year with Azia and Darkest Evil taking a strong part in the development of the federation (Hippie leaving soon after the foundation for peronal endeavors), but it wasn't until a move from XIW's originally home on myspace to invisionfree powerboard that started the downfall of the once dominant federation, lasting only a month until the legacy of XIW was dead and thus began the burial.
On May 17, 2008, Azia decided against giving up on her beloved federation and decided upon a rebirth of sorts under a new name and new style. So in the wee hours of the morning, Azia overlooked getting any sleep and created a new federation. At first there was doubt in her mind of what the federation name should be, and what the concepts behind the name and federation were going to be as well. Then after 3 hours of trying to think of a name, it finally came to her while listening to a song entitled 'Unleash the Beast' by De-So-Lix.
Azia had the Unleashed part of her federation in mind but 'PURE' was a little harder to come by. PURE officially stands as an acronym for Pride Unified Revolutionary Entertainment, which came as a result of not wanting a federation based upon the WWE, TNA, ROH, AAA, etc and also to not have a 'W' in the acronym as well either representing 'Wrestling' or 'World'. After almost 6 hours of thinking and getting minimal amounts of sleep, Azia was finally through the primary stage of bringing XIW's prodigy to light. It wasn't until two months later that PURE: Unleashed was officially opened.
